Our Story

This love story begins with a swipe. Both Andrew and Melissa found themselves on Bumble, one of the world's many dating apps, and thankfully, neither were on it for very long. After matching, the pair shared some casual conversation about their pets, interests, and the fact that Melissa had never seen The Lion King, Andrew's all-time favorite Disney movie. Fast forward to a sunny afternoon on August 28th, 2019; Andrew and Melissa met for the very first time at Proper Joe Coffeehouse in Snohomish, WA. Andrew was struck by Melissa's beautiful smile and Melissa was immediately drawn to Andrew's laugh.

From that moment on, the two did everything together, driving an hour to and from each other's homes just to spend an evening with one another. No lengthy drive nor worldwide pandemic could keep them apart. But eventually, in October of 2020, the two moved in together in a little one bedroom apartment in Bothell. They now spend each and every night together, with their two cats, Kyo and Atticus. 

Melissa and Andrew's relationship is a testament to perseverance and commitment, a bond strengthened by both good times and bad. It's a wonderful kind of love that isn't given up on, nor thrown out at the first sign of struggle and they cannot wait to celebrate this love with you on their special day.
